Iberian Lynx
Located in southern Spain, near the Sierra Morena range, the Peñalajo and El Aprisco estates are rich in wildlife, including high densities of partridges and wild rabbits. The area is also home to the critically endangered Iberian lynx, whose conservation has helped restore the wider ecosystem. Ethical wildlife photography is possible from hides built beside artificial water pools. While waiting for the lynx, it is fascinating to photograph other animals coming to drink and bathe.
